Shawn Lane special tribute show, celebrating his birthday on the 21st.
Shawn was one of the best there ever was. Please join me in celebrating what would have been his 43rd birthday.

I received an e-mail today from world-renowned Australian guitarist, Brett Garsed. In it, he talks about meeting Shawn:
I did meet Shawn in 1992 while I was touring with Bobby Rock and we went through Memphis. We went to his mother's house where he had his studio set up and he played us tracks from "Powers Of Ten" before it was released. He was one of the nicest and most humble individuals I've ever met and was going through hell at the time as he was involved in a very painful separation from his wife and daughter. Hadn't touched a guitar in weeks but he got up and jammed with us that night and just blew everyone away. An absolute natural if ever there was one.
