Sunday 11th January 2004 2:00am - 6:00am

I'll be playing a bunch of your favourites as well as some guys who you might not have heard of...

Check back here over the next few days for updates. I'll keep adding to this list till right before the show.

Mark Banning - Watts Up With The Passion?
This is a fun CD, in addition to having some really nice guitar on it. Funkified Thang is funny.

Jeff Beck - Jeff
As you all know, I can't get enough of this CD. I like to play something from it every show. This time we gonna have JB's Blues.

Mike Campese - Vibe
If you like guitar music (and why would you be here otherwise?), you'll love this. I'm going to play the title track, Vibe.

HP Crazy - HP Crazy
Awesomely talented guitarist and pianist (I think) from Switzerland. Here's Cold Fusion to warm you up.

Curtis - Room 137
Yes, Curtis again. A FretNet favourite. We've had a few tracks from here over the last couple of shows. Here's Playas del Cocos, just for something different.

Alex De Grassi - Guitar Harvest Volume 1
An inspired Hendrix cover, Angel. This double CD, a compilation from the New York Guitar Festival, is a treat for lovers of all styles of guitar music.

Al Di Meola - Land Of The Midnight Sun
One of the all-time greats, here's Al doing Chick Corea's Short Tales of the Black Forest.

Donald Dunlavey - It's Only A Dream
It's not a dream for Donald anymore. Here he is, on the radio! I hope you'll enjoy Cherry Street Strut.

Fleetwood Mac - Mr. Wonderful
No, not Stevie Nicks... The old Fleetwood Mac, back in the days of Peter Green. Here's a tune he wrote called Lazy Poker Blues.

Focus - Moving Waves
How much fun is this! I'm gonna play the legendary Hocus Pocus. Some of you people born in the last two or three decades have probably never heard it. It's a hoot.

Ryan Formato - Out Of This World
Talented 19-year-old shredder. Black Hole's a good one. I've played other stuff from this CD too and you seem to like it.

Robert Fripp & David Sylvian - The First Day
Robert Fripp is one of my favourite guitar players. He collaborated with David Sylvian for a couple of albums. Here's Jean The Birdman just for something different.

Buddy Guy - Blues Singer
This is a brilliant album. Here's a tune called Lucy Mae Blues. Eric Clapton plays on it too.

Jimi Hendrix - The Last Experience
A 3CD live set. I'm going to play three tracks: Foxy Lady, Little Wing, and Star Spagled Banner / Purple Haze. Jimi was the best.

Dave Hole - Working Overtime
Australian blues legend is Up All Night Thinking, when perhaps he should be doing something else?

Jimmibeetles Rock Theatre - American Ruins
Incredible CD from this unknown-in-Australia band. I'd like to play the whole thing for ya but let's start with Man In... Goddess Of... and see how we go.

Oscar Jordan - Mister Bad Luck
You see, I know you like the blues, which is why I'm gonna play You Better Run from this CD full of great tunes. After you've heard it, you'll all be asking me where you can get a copy from.

Michael Knight - Mechanica Diablo
Don't be scared. It's not really the devil, it's just a great guitar player. So good, you're going to get two tracks: Neo-Demonica and Mechanica Diablo.

Travis Larson Band - Travis Larson Band
The first CD from this technically accomplished three-piece. I've played a few tracks from their second CD, so it's about time for a history lesson. Here's Counter Parts. I know you're going to love it.

Led Zeppelin - BBC Sessions
This band was famous for playing other people's blues tunes. Here's Travelling Riverside Blues, by someone famous.

Carlos Lichman - Planet Rock
Talented Brazilian player has released a demo CD with two tracks. I played one last show and this time I'll play the other one, Planet Rock.

Bill Lonero - Slather
A FretNet special favourite. I've played a couple of tracks off this CD for you over the last few shows. This time I'll play Mr. Grinch and you are all going to poop yourselves in excitement.

Yngwie Malmsteen - Inspiration
Yngwie is currently on tour with Steve Vai and Joe Satriani as part of G3. Here's a track called Child In Time, a Deep Purple song. The live version of the original (from Deep Purple's Made In Japan) is one of my all-time faves. Let's see what Yngwie does with it.

Keith Miller - Groove Train
A FretNet fave. I play a lot from this CD. This time you're going to hear King. Enjoy.

Gary Moore - Still Got The Blues
Hard to choose from all the great tracks on this CD, which you should have. How about Midnight Blues.

Byron Nemeth - 100 Worlds
Brand new release from this very talented player. Hear it first on FretNet! I'll play Firedance for ya.

The Donnie Noyes Project - Urban Rhythm
If you like the track I'm going to play, On The Move, then you'll love the CD. All the tunes are great.

Ohm: - Ohm:
Chris Poland (ex-Megadeth) has a new band. I've played you one or two tracks from here before, and you seem to like it almost as much as I do, so here's another one. I'll play Peanut Buddah for you.

Leandro Oliveira - Somewhere Not Here
Another talented Brazilian player with a great CD. I played Gisa last time and you all liked it so here's Chasm.

The Steph Pappas Experience - Not On The Map
She has a style all her own, which means you'll love it or hate it. Listen with open ears and mind, and you're in for a pleasant surprise. I'll play Blues / Punk for your listening pleasure!

Plankton - Plankton
I've played you some of their stuff before, remember? Here's a cool tune called Varlevitation.

Rullian - Is This My Guitar Or An Albatross?
So many good tracks on this CD. It's a rare treasure. Here's La Manzana De Mi Pastel, but be advised that every song on the CD is in a different style. Something for everyone!

Joe Satriani - Flying In A Blue Dream
Most of you probably have this CD, but what the heck, here's The Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing.

Ken Snyder - One
A FretNet favourite. A heap of good tunes on this CD. How about... Shredder's Paradise.

Solo Mission - Looking For Jean-Pierre
Nice. I think you'll like More Than I Could Give. It has singing in it, but I'm sure you won't mind. It's good!

Taboo Voodoo - Something's Cookin'
Oooh, this one's good.. One For The Road is a good track, and so are all the others.

Omar Torrez - La Danza en mi Corazon
It's guitar, it's good. No, it's great. Bumba is very cool. Omar is a wiz.

Steve Vai - The Ultra Zone
I'm gonna play Jibboom off this album for ya. Steve Vai knows how to swing an axe, that's for sure.

Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble - In Step
A classic album by the absolute master. I'm going to play Wall Of Denial for you. Stevie, we miss you.

Jill Yan - Guitar Garbage 1.2
It ain't garbage. It good. The Detune is particularly tasty. Yum yum.

The Yardbirds - Crossroads Vol. 1
From a 4CD Eric Clapton collection, Got To Hurry is a classic Yardbirds track.

The Yardbirds - Birdland
The classic '60s band reformed, with a bunch of guest guitarists. I'm going to play Shapes of Things featuring Steve Vai on guitar!
